My manicotti recipe is made with thick, tubed pasta stuffed with ground beef and pork, ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan. The filling is also seasoned with minced onion and garlic (two absolute must-have ingredients for any Italian dish!), a bit of nutmeg, and fresh herbs. It’s all baked in tangy spaghetti sauce and topped with more cheese for a gooey, browned topping with just the right texture. Ziploc Baggie – Unless you have piping bags lying around — those are even better! Use a cornered plastic bag of some sort to quickly, cleanly, and easily prepare my manicotti recipe. Skillet – Or another nonstick saucepan for browning the beef, pork, garlic, and onions for the stuffed pasta filling. Pot – You’ll need a large stockpot to boil the large, thick manicotti noodles. 13×9-inch Baking Dish – Be sure your baking dish has tall sides to hold all of that delicious marinara!
Storing and Reheating
Any cooked beef dishes, including this manicotti recipe, can only be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator before risking food-borne illness.
