I always have a batch of it in the refrigerator and my boys eat it with pretty much everything under the sky. I will list the other Apple recipes that I have made below. I used a part of whole wheat flour in this recipe and there was just no difference between the ones made with entirely all-purpose flour. After baking, I think this bread has an even greater texture and slices way more beautifully than bread made entirely with APF. Cinnamon is the only predominant spice I used in this bread as it is fall and what better than a whole house smelling of cinnamon and apples? I did not use lemon juice in my apples to preserve the color. Instead, I chopped the apple right before it was time to go into the batter. This way it maintained the color. The apples remained intact and had a pleasant bite to them after baking. After baking this delicious and easy cinnamon apple bread, if you have more Gala and Granny Smith Apples, try this apple pie with a graham cracker crust. Also if you want to switch up the flavors a bit and have pears in your fruit basket, then make this pear bread instead.
