Tips for Success

Use stale or old bagels: This bagel chips recipe is a great way to use up stale or old bagels! It gives them a new life and they taste even crispier. Try a different bread: This recipe works beautifully with baguettes as well to make crostini! Make your own bagels! My Homemade Everything Bagels recipe is perfect for making bagel chips. Store bagel chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Make sure that the container is definitely airtight for best results. Need to crisp the bagel chips up again? Pop them in the oven or toaster oven for about 5 minutes until warm and crispy.
