Ring in the Holidays with This Festive Punch!

Looking for a fun festive cocktail to make this holiday season? Look no further than this Cranberry Pomegranate Punch! It’s made with homemade cranberry juice using fresh cranberries! As well as all of the other flavors of the season — fresh rosemary, oranges, pomegranate juice, and of course champagne! My favorite thing about this cocktail is that you can make it ahead of time! You can make the homemade cranberry juice and store in the fridge for up to a week before. You can also assemble the punch and the punch ice cubes the day before as well. All you have to do the day of is top with champagne!

Ingredients

Fresh Cranberries: I use fresh cranberries to make my homemade cranberry juice. This takes the punch to the next level! If you are in a pinch store-bought cranberry juice works as well! Sugar: Is used to sweeten my homemade cranberry juice. Adjust to taste. Orange Juice: Fresh squeeze orange juice and cranberry go so well together! I use orange juice in the punch AND to make my homemade cranberry juice. Pomegranate Juice: Adds a tartness and sweetness to the punch. I like to opt for the not from concentrate pomegranate juice located in the refrigerate section for the best taste! Triple Sec: Is an orange flavor liquor that is sweetened. So it helps sweeten the punch as well as give it a nice orange flavor! For Garnish: Pomegranate Aerials, Cranberries, Orange Slices and Fresh Rosemary Sprigs! Champagne: Opt for a dry brut champagne so the punch isn’t too sweet.

How To Make cranberry POMEGRANATE punch

Make the Homemade Cranberry Juice! Add the cranberries, sugar, and water to a saucepan. Bring to a light simmer and cook until cranberries have opened up and the sauce has thickened, 20 minutes.

Assemble the Cocktail Punch: Add pomegranate juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, triple sec to a punch bowl. Top with sprigs of fresh rosemary, orange slices, pomegranate aerials and more fresh cranberries! Serve: When you are ready to serve add in the champagne! Bonus Points: For an extra fancy touch freeze some of the punch in ice cube trays with fresh cranberries and rosemary. Serve them in glasses topped with champagne. For the kids you can serve these with sparkling water on top or sparkling apple juice!
