Homemade Granola Recipe
This homemade granola is so crunchy and so sweet yet with no refined sugar in view. It is sweetened with real Canadian maple syrup and a tad of honey. Making your own granola at home allows us to add things that are truly healthy and avoid unhealthy bits. It is also a lot cheaper! After I started making my own granola I never bought another box. Homemade granola tastes so much fresher, it’s healthier since you control the ingredients and the amount of sugar and oil plus you can put only the things you truly love.
Ingredients
Organic oats, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, dried apricots and raisins, large coconut flakes and a lil’ bit of coconut oil to raise the crunch factor. The best thing about making your own mix is that you can add whatever your heart desires.

This delicious granola has become the highlight of my morning! I even brought some to work in case I don’t have time to eat in the morning. I can’t get enough. On Saturdays though when I can afford to take it a bit slower I treat my kids to little cups of hot chocolate to go with their granola. Don’t judge me. It’s a European thing! My kids LOVE IT!
